چکیده
Reusing construction and demolition wastes for geotechnical geo-environmental purposes has already become a research hotspot. This study was carried out to evaluate the feasibility of using recycled in partial substitution cement enhance mechanical properties soft soil. The strength stiffness development two types material (RM1 RM2), incorporated with peat clayey soil under 7, 14, 28 days’ curing time, investigated based on unconfined compressive free–free resonance frequency test methods. findings demonstrated that showed an average 2.5 times higher than addition materials, regardless type. However, after 14 days curing, remained constant Moreover, it is concluded studied granular materials could be used replace part content improve properties.

A study on use of recycled demolition debris in construction
The particle size distribution of output material is affected by type of crusher used .The demolition debris of particle size less than 37.5 mm. The inclusion of upto 15% of particle larger than 37.5 mm should not alter density significantly. Water absorption of coarse and fine particle of crushed brick aggregates passing 19 mm 4.75 mm respectively and retaining on 4.75 mm are 6.15 % and 6.20 %...

Fiber reinforced plastic composites using recycled materials
This work investigates the feasibility of using recycled high density polyethylene (rHDPE), recycled polypropylene (rPP) and old newsprint fiber (ONP) to manufacture fiber reinforced composites. The boards were made through air-forming and hot press. The effects of the fiber loading and coupling agent content on tensile, flexural, internal bond properties and water absorption and thickness swel...
متن کاملProperties of Concrete Paving Blocks and Hollow Tiles with Recycled Aggregate from Construction and Demolition Wastes
In recent years there has been an increasing tendency to recycle the wastes generated by building companies in the construction industry, demolition wastes being the most important in terms of volume. The aim of this work is to study the possibility of using recycled aggregates from construction and demolition wastes in the preparation of precast non-structural concretes. To that purpose, two d...
متن کاملUtilization of Recycled and Waste Materials in Various Construction Applications
More production equals more waste, more waste creates environmental concerns of toxic threat. An economical viable solution to this problem should include utilization of waste materials for new products which in turn minimize the heavy burden on the nation’s landfills. Recycling of waste construction materials saves natural resources, saves energy, reduces solid waste, reduces air and water pol...
